Forgive the slowness.
I'm starting to get all antsy because the way I planned Lexcore in the past is making it go very slowly, with not so much action. There's a bit later in the chapter, but yeah. BUT! There's no chance in hell I'm starting over. Not with this many pages and this far into it. I'd feel bad for you guys, since you're all sticking with it and being patient with me. : D
Anywho, the next chapter has a lot of Commander Nauriole in it.
I came across this thread on Gaia with artist alley info and tips for anime conventions. I am now obsessing over having that table, because I've been planning to for like...4 years and never got around to busting out art for it. But next year I definitely am going to try hard forlz. I'm shooting for Anime Next and/or Anime Expo. Anyone here go to those?
My friend made me an awesome Lexcore logo shirt. Who'd buy one? Ahahaha. XD
[edit] I'm sooo close to getting a new laptop. Once I do, I can offload all the stuff I have saved on this one I've got. Then I can free that video from the confines of my hard drive and finally edit it into a video.
XD;; You'd do that? Where do you live? Haha. We should do something if you go! There's a scavenger hunt they do every year... : D Or we could embarrass ourselves at AX Idol [I think it's a singing competition]. XD Unless you're good at singing, in which case, I will embarrass myself and you can do awesome. Haha.
Sleep is for wimps. And I say this as I lament my lack of sleep.
I live in the Great White North..aka British Columbia, Canada ;D So it's actually not that hard for me to get to AX ... I've been a couple of times.. it's only the housing issues ^^;
I'm rubbish at singing >.> *weak laugh* but I do like the scavenger hunt and stuff like that ;D
I haven't had to deal with housing arrangements since I live an hour away from Los Angeles (30 minutes away when it was still in Anaheim). So yeah...Hahaha. So when did you come down to AX?
You know how massively huge AX is, yeah? Well Sakuracon is in the middle between AX and my local 'con, AE.. AE only got like 6 or 7 thousand people in 2009.
Yeah I do. The smaller 'cons are more relaxed.. and you can actually breathe ;D
I spend WAY more time in Artist's Alley talking to the artists cuz things are more loose, and they have the time to talk ;D (it doesn't hurt that I buy stuff too >.>)
Breathing! Hurrah! I like to breathe. And not be squished up against sweaty people. @_@
Oooh, awesome. : D Were the artists pretty cool about talking to you? The one time I tried talking to an artist, since he had his comics printed into nifty, pro-looking books, he wasn't very personable...He seemed to have this air of "I am awesome, listen to me blather about myself" kinda thing going on. Hahaha.
Yeah, that's a nice thing..not to be squished up against sweaty otakus ;D
Yeah, overall, the artists were happy to talk to me, because, I guess, I'm actually INTERESTED in what they have to say ;D Granted, I have met a few artists like the fellow you described, but they're quite rare, I think. >.<
